In dedication to their mission of helping women business owners succeed, Insperity has partnered with Her Story of Success to bring you a live event series, Preparing for Next. These interactive meetings act as a platform to provide resources and continue connecting business owners and leaders to one another.
During the upcoming Preparing for Next event on September 9th, 12pm CDT/1pm EDT, we will have a live interview followed by a small group discussion about “When to Persevere and When to Pivot.”
Leah Glover Hayes, host of the Her Story of Success podcast, will interview Helen Guo, Co-Founder and CEO of Schoolyard Snacks, a company that sells low-carb, sugar-free snacks that kids still enjoy.
Helen will share her story of starting multiple businesses that failed before creating Schoolyard Snacks, which has generated over 8 figures in revenue in its first two years. She’ll explain how to know whether you should persevere with your current idea or pivot to something new. Helen will also tell how Schoolyard Snacks made its first $100,000 without spending any money on advertising, with strategies like sending product to micro-influencers and building engagement with email marketing.
After Helen’s interview, you will have the opportunity to meet peers, share experiences and connect with potential partners and clients across the country.
The first 30 women to register will be entered into a random drawing for a box of SchoolYard snacks, so be sure to sign up now!
Leah Glover Hayes, Her Story of Success podcast host and CEO, interviewed Fran Biderman-Gross, founder and CEO of Advantages and author of How to Lead a Values-Based Professional Services Firm.
